Friendly Integrated Development Initiative in Poverty Alleviation (FIDIPA) is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) in Kenya registered in March 2007 under the NGO Act of Kenya as a National NGO after operating as a Community Based Organization since 2004. FIDIPA has programs in Siaya, Nyando, Kericho, Kipkelion, Kisumu and Nairobi Districts of Kenya. The roots of FIDIPA can be traced way back to 2000 when a group of local professionals came together and envisaged the need to work together in an organization through which to offer consultancy services and community facilitation services in a wide area of community development.
FIDIPA recognizes the potential that exists in the community and aims at alleviating poverty amongst the rural poor through use and promotion of local initiatives and local resources.
